Richard Egli

Ph. D. Student

Information

I was a student at University of Montreal in computer graphics. I'm now an assistant professor at "Université de Sherbrooke" in
the department "de mathématiques et d'informatique" since June 2000.

I'm working on a framework for the specification and manipulation of models of systems using chains on cell complexes.

My advisor was  Neil Stewart.

Chain System

There is a public version of the implementation of the framework : Chain System.  It provides
an easy way to describe the behavior of objects, for example, using physical simulation.  It permits
the specification and manipulation of attributes associated with topological elements of systems.
It uses a simple API describe in A framework for system specification using chains on cell complexes

The programe, in Visual C++ 5.0, includes two examples : a waving flag and Catmull-Clark
subdivision process.

If you use the Chain System, develop new examples, modify the program, please, let me know.
