I am a RALI alumnus, now (since 2004) at NRC, where I work in the newly-formed Language Technology Research Centre.

My research involves the application of statistical machine learning techniques to natural language problems, especially those involving more than one language. I am particularly interested in adaptive techniques for statistical machine translation. In the past, I've been involved with TT2, a project on predictive interactive MT, and a Johns Hopkins CLSP summer workshop on confidence estimation for MT. Currently I'm attempting to PORTAGE through a GALE. Here are some publications.
