Research interests - computer graphics
My master's thesis is essentially on dynamics simulation. You can
find an excellent course on this topic (given by Baraff and Witkin every
year at SIGGRAPH) at
http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~baraff/sigcourse/
In addition to that, I have worked or have studied the following to
various degrees:
-
Acceleration of the rendering of objects with many very small polygons;
-
Rendering and simulation of natural phenomena such as gases or liquids
(see the material for a presentation
I have made on that subject (in French));
-
Rendering of light rays in participating media such as humid or dusty air;
-
Rendering and dynamics of particles;
-
Specialized surface shaders.
