x_pointer
NAME
x_pointer - part of Simula to Xlib interface
DESCRIPTION
Xlib_Pointer class X_Pointer(Display_);
ref (X_Display) Display_;
Controls for the movement of the Pointer, not its shape. See
Also data-classes XPointerMapping and XPointerInfo used for
parameters, and results to some of the operations.
SUPERS: Xlib_Pointer, Xlib_object
KIND: Subclassable
INIT: initializes itself
Sequencing:
(ChangePointerControl/GetPointerControl/QueryPointer/
:
WarpPointer/GetPointerMapping/SetPointerMapping)*
OPERATIONS
ChangePointerControl
Procedure ChangePointerControl(DoAccel, DoThreshold,
AccelNumerator, AccelDenominator, Threshold);
Boolean DoAccel;! Controls if the values for
AccelNumerator or Denomiantor are set;
Boolean DoThreshold;! Controls if the value for the
Threshold is set;
Integer AccelNumerator;! Together they specifies the
...;
integer AccelDenominator; ! ... acceleration multiplier.;
Integer Threshold;! Specifies the acceleration threshold;
Change the pointer preferences
GetPointerControl
Procedure GetPointerControl(AccelNumerator,
AccelDenominator, Threshold);
Name AccelNumerator,AccelDenominator,Threshold;
Integer AccelNumerator,AccelDenominator;
Integer Threshold;! The acceleration threshold in
pixels.;
Gets the current pointer preferences. Outputs
AccelNumerator, Denominator and Threshold. The pointer must
move more than Threshold amount before acceleration takes
effect
AccelNumerator and AccelDenominator are for the acceleration
multiplier
QueryPointer
ref (XPointerInfo) Procedure QueryPointer(Win);
ref(X_Window) Win;
Returns the current pointer location in a XPointerInfo
object. Win specifies a window which indirectly indicates
which XScreen for which the pointer position is returned.
WarpPointer
Procedure WarpPointer(SrcW, DstW, SrcX, SrcY, SrcWidth,
SrcHeight, DstX, DstY);
ref(X_Window) SrcW,DstW;!The source and destination
window. May be none;
Integer SrcX,SrcY;!The coordinates within the source
window;
Integer SrcWidth,SrcHeight;!Width and height (in pixels)
of the source area;
Integer DstX,DstY;!The coordinates within the destination
window.;
Move the pointer to another pointer on the screen.
GetPointerMapping
ref(XPointerMapping) procedure GetPointerMapping;
Returns the pointer button mapping
SetPointerMapping
integer procedure SetPointerMapping(Mapping);
ref(XPointerMapping) Mapping;
Sets the pointer button mapping, returning either
MappingSuccess or MappingBusy (or MappingFailed)
XSetModifierMapping
XSetModifierMapping is NOT implemented because it's a
function used in window managers only.
