We study the mathematical foundations of computer science, from quantum information and computation to classical complexity and graph theory. Based at DIRO, Université de Montréal.
Welcome to the website of the Laboratory of Theoretical and Quantum Informatics (LITQ) at the Department of Computer Science and Operations Research (DIRO), Université de Montréal. Our laboratory has seven faculty members and is very active in both research and teaching.
We work on various aspects related to the foundations of computer science and physics. Our research focuses on quantum information and computation, classical and quantum cryptography, the foundations of quantum theory, computational complexity, and graph theory.
