The Passing of Thomas Wolfe ...Mr. Wolfe left Ireland with his parents when but three years old, settling in Illinois. He was united in marriage to Miss Catherine Mulvihill in 1875 to which union were born six children two of whom died while young, leaving a wife and four children to mourn his demise. Mr. Wolfe was a quiet and industrious man, believing to do by others as he would have other do by him. He moved to Iowa in the early days of its statehood and by diligent work his efforts were crowned by succeeding in getting himself and family a home 1 1/2 miles south of town. He was a man highly spoken of by all neighbors and held in the highest esteem by his acquaintances. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement.
